Red Nose Day @ 15 Queen Street
We had a fantastic time on Red Nose Day here at 15 Queen Street. Our resident duo Lauren and Phil from the Hidden Dingbat Collective transcribed the whole of the Comic Relief show on the BBC live on the night, producing this colossal illustration.
Their next plan of action is to get all the celebrities involved to sign the piece and they will then be auctioned the beast off to raise even more funds for Red Nose Day.
They hosted their draw-a-thon from 7pm til 2pm, an intense 8 hours drawing non stop. We’re very pleased that loads of our residents and flexi members came together to help them with their event. Residents Kinura streamed the illustrating online and flexi member Jason Cobb live bloged their developments; which you can view here. As well as the many other members and friends involved who helped set it up and support the night, we would like to say thanks again and congratulations to the Dingbats for a fantastic outcome.
For more information about the project visit the Dingbats blog here. They aimed to raise £500 on the night, but they are still a bit short of their target (£345 and counting).
